What are three things I wish I knew before I started my own business?

Number three, don’t just work.
I sit here, and I talk to you about doing commercial real estate, I talked to you about building a business, however I live a social life. I enjoy my life. Like I said, when it’s time to play, I have a great time, when it’s time to work, I have no fear around doing it as many hours as it will take. But sometimes, people who are entrepreneurs feel like that’s all they can do.
I think if you are going to be balanced, if you’re going to be successful, those things have seasons, as a friend of mine says, and you can’t take every season of your life to do all the work to only focus on the dreams.
You have to take some of your seasons or your time to truly enjoy your life, have a good relationship, have a lot of friendships, explore the world, go to the beach, do what makes you happy.
That is the only way I feel like that you can succeed in business ownership.
