About Cyn
Allow me to introduce myself: I’m Cyn, short for Cynthia Genefine Philipa Peacock! I was fortunate enough to come into this world as the child of Aminatta and Dennis Peacock, born in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, West Africa. At the age of 7, my parents made a selfless decision to send me to the United States to be raised by my aunt and uncle, Donald and Wanda Peacock. Little did I know how profoundly this would shape my life.
Growing up in Voorhees, New Jersey, I made a series of unconventional decisions that eventually led me to New York City in 2003, and I haven’t looked back since. This city is my home; it has molded and challenged me into the woman I am today. Now, I’m thrilled to share more of my journey with you as we delve into the depths of my mind through these pages.
Here’s the thing you should know about me: I am passionate about business. Yes, it may sound cliché, but there’s something about entrepreneurship that ignites a fire within me. From my earliest days as a sitter, tutor, realtor, consultant, speed dating host, online seller, business coach, branding specialist, and so much more, I finally embraced my purpose on this earth: to connect people and their businesses with the best resources to help them thrive. That’s it.
One thing about me is that I never let anything hold me back. Yes, yes, I’m a hustler! I believe that with my ambition and determination, I can turn each obstacle into an opportunity for growth and success.
I want to be proof that being a woman of color in the entrepreneurial world is not a disadvantage, but a superpower waiting to be unleashed. And yes, I want to bring a unique perspective and a vibrant energy to everything I do.
Are you ready? Let’s go!
xoxo Cyn
