Here’s a tip. Try this, and I promise you, it will transform the next six months of your life.

Anytime you have a meal, don’t eat by yourself. Go to a bar, go to a restaurant. Sit at the bar, make sure it’s a busy place. Now if it’s a place where there’s only the bartender and you, that may not be the ideal location.

Pick a place a lot of business owners go to, sit at the bar, but position yourself in an awkward seat, not the one at the corner, not the one all the way to the left where other people can’t sit. Sit in one where someone has to sit next to you at one side or the other, and smile.

Have fun, enjoy yourself, and say hello to people. I bet you that within six months, you would have made at least 10 more relationships, you would have met at least five other business owners.
